YRMC AMONG THE BEST EMPLOYERS

In 2004, YRMC was named a finalist in the annual nationwide search by Fortune magazine to identify America’s “100 Best Companies to Work For.” The “100 Best” covers all U.S. industries and businesses—not just those involved in healthcare—and winning is based on factors that range from employee surveys and teamwork to patient (or customer) satisfaction and meeting organizational goals. This is a prestigious and much-sought-after honor.

RISING TO THE CHALLENGE

Rising above the grasslands of Prescott Valley in 2004 was the steel structure of YRMC East—a 50-bed, acute-care hospital that will open in 2006 to offer a wide array of state-of-the-art technology and programs to residents of YRMC’s service area. This entirely new facility, which is being built at a cost of more than $50 million, will provide the convenience of an additional hospital to serve people of all ages, from all walks of life, and with all types of medical conditions.
